Yes, there's a few things to consider when microwaving these boxes, from both a safety perspective and also to prolong the life of the product: Do not use in older 915 Mhz Microwaves.
Do not use bleach, cleaners containing chlorine, abrasive cleaners or scrubbers on any part of the box as they may dull the finish and cause scratches.

Also, please note that very oily or acidic food (such as tomato soup) may also cause staining and even burn marks on the lids.
The box will be hot when you remove it from the microwave so you might want to use oven gloves or a tea towel to protect your hands.
If you microwave for longer than 2 minutes it could cause the polypropylene lid to warp, which will then affect the leak proof performance.

There are definitely some metals that should not be placed in a microwave, however, this does not include the stainless steel that we use.

Shipping and returns
