How do I look after my Food Flask?

Clean with warm water, a sponge and washing-up liquid prior to initial use and after every use.

What happens if a vacuum forms and I can't open the lid?

How do I remove stains?

Hot liquids can cause scalding.

How do I prevent vacuum forming in my Food Flask?

The top of the flask is wider than most liquid flasks, therefore you can heat your food to the maximum temperature possible to have optimal heat retention.

For best results, pre-fill with hot water for hot food, or cold water for chilled food, for about 5 minutes and empty before you use it (DO NOT overfill your flask).

Always rinse before reuse.

Wait till the food has cooled down (maximum of 6 hours) before attempting to unscrew the lid.

Before screwing down the lid, please make sure that the sealing ring is undamaged and fully fits into its pocket.

Dry thoroughly after leaving it to drain.

If you have removed the silicone seal for cleaning, please ensure it is replaced correctly on the lid.
